The project of the updated Polini Thor 80 was born by the precise will to match its unbelievable power and compactness features to its extraordinary weight/power ratio, as well as its thrust and upward potential.

The original air filter stands out for its modern, carbon look design, with very compact dimensions. If compared to the previous air filter, the new one reduces the noise. The filtering element has an advanced technology, to ensure maximum air cleaning features during the aspiration.
The main feature of the Thor 80 engine is the new carburetion setting, which ensures a more homogeneous and linear power output at every rpm.

The trading and competition success achieved by Polini Thor engines, has driven Polini towards a restyling of THOR 130.
The new Thor 130 features a very compact design. The exhaust system is divided into 2 shells. The exhaust manifold is with spherical coupling and it is fixed on rubber suspensions that grant an incredible duration. The springs supplied with steel hooks make them strong and offer the possibility to fasten them for higher safety level. The crankcase has been revisited to be more compact and uniform.
The new Polini THOR 130 EVO is an advanced engine that can adopt two different fuel systems: Ø 24 bowl carburetor or Walbro WG8 carburetor. The engine has been developed and produced with handmade criteria through the most modern and advanced productive systems, constantly followed up by specialized technicians with great experience, professionality and creativity.

As its Thor 200 HF older brother, the Polini Thor 190HF has been developed by the R&D team using the new 3D modeling software systems and flow dynamic simulation. The result of this research and the introduction of the innovative HF System grant better cooling improving the performance of the Thor 190HF. Polini THOR 190 HF engines feature: 193cc displacement, reduced weight till 13,6 kg if equipped with Titanium exhaust system (available as an optional).

Polini Thor 202 is born from the experience acquired with Thor 200 and from the demand of the market of a powerful and lighter engine that at the same time can grant more thermal stability. The solution adopted by Polini’s technicians to achieve this goal is to use the liquid cooling system, technology that have been tested for many years on Thor 250.

The new Thor 202 stands out engines for its extraordinary weight reduction.

It is 1,6 kg lighter compared to Thor 200HF including the cooling system too and it is 4hp more powerful with optimized torque curve above all at low rpm, thus granting lower consumption and more comfort when flying besides an exceptional thermic stability.

Great attention has been dedicated to the aesthetic and aerodynamic features, that have driven to the production of a brand new airbox with a modern design and small dimensions. Even the cylinder has been completely re-designed to be highly performing to grant the maximum performance.
An exclusive, reliable and long-lasting product, to grant longer life to the engine and increasing the TBO (time between overhaul) up to 400 hours.

With 38hp at 8000 rpm, Thor 303 offers 120 kg of static thrust with a propeller of 160cm*
The consumption is only of 3 liters per hour at 4500 rpm, that corresponds to 30 kg of static thrust, medium range at level flight.
